As usual, TCARS had a club stand at the NARSA Rally last Sunday (April 29th) and we chose this event to show our new graphics and club branding to the world!

This year we had a digital theme, mainly associated with WSPR and FT8.  Many club members have been playing with FT8, and now it is gaining popularity on 2 metres, will probably become more widely used. Love it or hate it, it's here, and as it only takes up a tiny slice of the band, it's a great addition to the range and scope of ham radio.

We also had the winning entry from our construction trophy, which was a HF Transceiver made by Ted G3WBB.

We had a raffle to win a brand new WSPR Lite unit, which helped raise club funds.

The stand was very busy, and it was great fun chatting to everyone who stopped by to say hello.

Special thanks to the North West Fusion Group, as many of our members who are also part of this group wore our TCARS shirts to show the close links between their Facebook group and TCARS.
