We are taking part in this years CQ World Wide DX Contest.
This is a great contest, with a large number of participants all around the world, we are hoping for a good score this year so will be looking to spend as much time as possible on the air, so if you’d like to take part let us know you’re interested and when you’re free to get on the air. Don’t worry if you’ve never contested before, you’ll be made to feel welcome.

We are trying to build our participation in the contest calendar and to do that we need your support.

We will be setting up the station from 1330 on Friday 24th October, although we’ve made a start there’s still loads for us to do. We’ve got to get the 160m Doublet set up on the second tower, we have coax and rotator cables to run in, the logging computer to set up along with running power cables and getting the site tidy! Any help on Friday would be really great.

The contest starts at 0000 on Saturday 25th October and runs until 2359 on Sunday 26th, so if you’d like to come and get involved there’s loads of opportunity for you to get on the air.
