Setting up for CQWW

Friday 17th October saw members of the TCARS contest group head down to the farm in Great Eccleston to start setting up for the CQ World wide DX contest taking place next weekend.

We’ve got the tri-band beam (with 40m add on) up on the tower, the hardest part was getting the beam out of the barn, it can only be described as like playing 3D Tetris. A lot of huffing and puffing was involved but we managed it in the end, a quick wipe and it’s looking great.

A plan of attack has been formed for next Friday when we will be back! Thanks to Phil J, Keith, David and Mike.

Hope to see you there on the 24th October (1330)
