Why Every TCARS Member Should Join Our Discord

Many people think of Discord as something for gamers, but it’s actually one of the best communication tools available for any community with shared interests. For Thornton Cleveleys Amateur Radio Society (TCARS), it’s like having the clubroom open 24 hours a day.

Whether you’re a newly licensed Foundation operator, an experienced DX chaser, a constructor, or simply curious about amateur radio, Discord gives you a place to connect with fellow members whenever it suits you.

Supporting the RSGB Brickworks Scheme

Discord will help TCARS get the most from the RSGB Brickworks Scheme by extending collaboration beyond club nights. Members can share project ideas, construction notes, circuit diagrams and progress updates, ask for help with builds, and learn from each other’s experiences as well as planning activations, it creates an online workshop where knowledge is shared, problems are solved together, and every Brickworks project leaves a lasting resource for future members.
